Ring Size

 

Ring size refers to the measurement that is used to indicate the circumference (or sometimes the diameter) of jewellery rings and smart rings.

 Ring size can be determined physically by a paper, plastic or a ring sizer made of metal (as gauge) or by measuring the inner diameter of a ring that already fits.



 



 Ring sticks are tools used to gauge the size of a ring, and generally made of delrin, plastic, wood and aluminium or multiple materials. It is possible to use digital ring sticks for exact measurements.

 ISO 19865:2016 defines standard ring sizes in relation to the inner circumference of the ring measured in millimetres. The ISO sizes are used to measure the circumference of a ring in Austria (France, Germany, Belgium and Scandinavia (Norway. Sweden. Denmark. Finland. Iceland.)
